John Primer is a first-rate bluesman.

  He has played with some of the biggest names in the business, Sammy Lawhorn, Willie Dixon, Smokey Smothers, Lonnie Brooks. Junior Wells, Buddy Guy, Muddy Waters, and Magic Slim, yet he is approachable and gives an outstanding performance at the more intimate Chicago blues clubs.   The night that we saw him, he featured Shirley Johnson, a blues singer who really brings it home to the crowd.

John Primer and The Real Deal really is the real deal.
